Terms of Use

Last updated: 27 August 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of LNAT Prepper.

LNAT Prepper is operated by CR & MR Tuition.

In these Terms, “LNAT Prepper”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to CR & MR Tuition. “You” means the person using LNAT Prepper.

Please read these Terms before creating an account or using the service.

By creating an LNAT Prepper account, you agree to these Terms. If you use parts of LNAT Prepper without an account, such as the guest diagnostic, the provisions of these Terms that relate to use of the website, practice materials, intellectual property and acceptable use also apply to that use.

Our Privacy Notice explains how we collect and use personal information.

1.What LNAT Prepper is

LNAT Prepper is an educational preparation service for people preparing for the National Admissions Test for Law (LNAT).

The service may include:

  • LNAT-style practice passages and multiple-choice questions;
  • timed Section A practice papers;
  • a free diagnostic;
  • answer explanations and analysis of distractors;
  • scores and performance breakdowns;
  • progress and attempt history;
  • preparation guides and educational articles;
  • timing and extra-time settings; and
  • other preparation features that we may introduce.

The particular features available to you may depend on whether you are using the service as a guest or through an account and, if paid services are introduced, the access you have purchased.

2.LNAT Prepper is independent

LNAT Prepper is an independent preparation resource.

It is not produced, approved, endorsed or operated by the LNAT Consortium, Pearson VUE, any university or any university admissions department.

Our practice passages, questions and explanations are independently created preparation materials. They are not official LNAT questions unless something is expressly identified as an external official resource and linked to its original source.

References to the LNAT, universities or other organisations are used to describe the test and admissions processes for which students are preparing.

Students should use the official LNAT website and the relevant university's own admissions information as the authoritative source for current test rules, deadlines and entry requirements.

3.Educational purpose and no guaranteed outcome

LNAT Prepper is designed to help you practise the skills used in the LNAT. It cannot guarantee a particular result.

In particular, we do not guarantee:

  • that you will achieve a particular LNAT score;
  • that a practice score will equal your score in the real LNAT;
  • that completing a particular number of practice papers will produce a particular improvement;
  • that an LNAT Prepper paper will have exactly the same difficulty as an official LNAT paper;
  • that the topics appearing in our materials will appear in the real test;
  • an interview, university offer or admission outcome; or
  • any particular decision by a university.

Practice scores, category breakdowns and explanations are educational feedback, not admissions decisions.

Universities make their own admissions decisions and may use the LNAT in different ways.

4.Current information about the LNAT and universities

We take reasonable care when publishing factual information about the LNAT, universities and admissions.

However, matters such as test dates, registration deadlines, test format, university requirements, admissions policies, university use of Section A or Section B, and published score information can change.

Where a decision matters to your application, you should check the current information published by the LNAT or the relevant university rather than relying solely on LNAT Prepper.

If you spot factual information on LNAT Prepper that appears to be out of date or incorrect, you can contact us at catherinerobinsontuition@gmail.com.

5.Who can use LNAT Prepper

LNAT Prepper is intended primarily for prospective university applicants and may be used by students who are under 18.

If you are under 18, you should make sure that you understand these Terms. You may ask a parent, guardian, teacher or another trusted adult to help you if anything is unclear.

Our approach to personal information belonging to users under 18 is explained in our Privacy Notice.

Paid purchases by users under 18

LNAT Prepper currently operates using free-account access.

If paid products are introduced in future, we may require the person making a purchase to be 18 or over, or require a parent or guardian to make or authorise the purchase on behalf of a person under 18. Any age requirement applicable to a purchase will be made clear before payment.

6.Creating an account

Some LNAT Prepper features require an account.

When creating or maintaining an account, you must:

  • provide the information requested by the account form;
  • not impersonate another person;
  • keep your login credentials reasonably secure; and
  • tell us if you believe somebody else has gained unauthorised access to your account.

Accounts are intended for individual use.

You must not deliberately give another person access to your account so that they can use practice materials or account features as though they were you.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account where that activity results from your deliberately sharing your login details or failing to take reasonable steps to protect them.

7.Email verification and account communications

We may require you to verify your email address before certain account features are available.

We may send emails that are reasonably necessary to provide and secure your account, such as:

  • email verification messages;
  • password-reset messages;
  • important security information;
  • information about a problem affecting your account; and
  • important notices concerning the service or these Terms.

These are service communications rather than marketing emails.

If we introduce optional marketing emails or newsletters, we will handle marketing preferences separately and in accordance with applicable law.

8.Guest use

Some features, including the free diagnostic, may be available without creating an account.

Guest progress may be saved temporarily in the browser so that an accidental refresh or reopening of the page does not immediately destroy an unfinished attempt.

A submitted guest result may also remain in that browser temporarily so that it can be attached to an account if you subsequently sign in or create one.

The details and retention periods are explained in our Privacy Notice.

Because these records are stored locally in the browser, they may be lost if you:

  • clear browser data;
  • use private or incognito browsing;
  • change device or browser;
  • use software that deletes local browser storage; or
  • block the browser storage necessary for the feature.

We take reasonable steps to make the recovery feature work as described, but you should not assume that locally stored guest progress can always be recovered in circumstances outside our control.

9.Timed practice papers

LNAT Prepper practice papers may use a countdown timer intended to reproduce the time pressure of LNAT Section A.

Where a practice paper has begun, the service may continue to measure the permitted time by reference to its original deadline even if the page is refreshed, closed and reopened or the attempt is resumed.

This is intended to prevent a refresh or reconnection from creating additional test time.

Any pause, resume, retake or attempt rules shown for a particular paper form part of the way that practice feature operates.

10.Extra-time practice

LNAT Prepper may allow you to select a 25% extra-time setting for a practice attempt.

This is a practice setting only.

Selecting extra time on LNAT Prepper:

  • does not determine whether you qualify for an access arrangement in the real LNAT;
  • does not constitute approval of an official access arrangement;
  • does not communicate an access arrangement to Pearson VUE or the LNAT; and
  • does not replace any process required to arrange extra time for the real test.

You are responsible for checking the official arrangements that apply to your own LNAT sitting.

We do not require you to disclose a medical condition or explain why you select the extra-time setting.

11.Scores and performance analysis

LNAT Prepper automatically marks practice questions using the answer key for the relevant practice paper.

Where available, we may also display:

  • question-category performance;
  • strengths and weaknesses;
  • timing information;
  • answered-question counts;
  • previous attempts; and
  • comparisons or benchmarks based on other LNAT Prepper attempts.

These features are designed to support preparation.

Benchmarking

Any benchmark, distribution or comparison based on LNAT Prepper users is not an official LNAT percentile or national score distribution.

It is based on the set of eligible LNAT Prepper practice attempts available for the relevant calculation. That group may differ from the population of people taking the real LNAT.

We may exclude attempts that would make a comparison misleading, for example certain recovered, incomplete, guest or otherwise unsuitable attempts.

Benchmark information should therefore be treated as an indication of performance within LNAT Prepper, not as a prediction of your position among real LNAT candidates.

12.Corrections to practice material

We take reasonable care in preparing and reviewing practice passages, questions, answer keys and explanations.

However, educational content can contain mistakes.

We may correct:

  • typographical errors;
  • broken links;
  • factual errors;
  • unclear wording;
  • answer explanations;
  • question or answer-option errors; and
  • scoring or technical errors.

Where an error materially affects a stored practice result, we may take reasonable steps to correct or annotate the affected result.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory right you may have where you have paid for a service or digital content.

13.Permitted use of our materials

Unless we say otherwise, LNAT Prepper's original passages, questions, explanations, written guides, graphics, branding, software and other original materials are owned by or licensed to CR & MR Tuition and are protected by intellectual-property law.

We give you a limited permission to access and use LNAT Prepper materials for your own personal, non-commercial LNAT preparation.

You may make reasonable personal study notes from the materials.

Except where permitted by law or with our written permission, you must not:

  • reproduce or publish substantial parts of our practice materials;
  • upload our passages, questions, answer options or explanations to another website or public resource;
  • distribute copies to other students;
  • sell or commercially exploit our materials;
  • create or distribute a competing question bank substantially derived from our materials;
  • systematically download or extract our content;
  • scrape the website or use automated tools to harvest practice material;
  • disclose protected answer keys or solutions in a way that undermines the service;
  • remove ownership or copyright notices; or
  • use substantial amounts of our materials to train, fine-tune or build an AI model or competing educational dataset without our written permission.

Nothing in these Terms prevents an act that copyright or other applicable law expressly permits.

Teachers, tutors, schools or organisations wishing to use LNAT Prepper materials with multiple students should contact catherinerobinsontuition@gmail.com for permission.

14.Acceptable use

You must not use LNAT Prepper to:

  • break the law;
  • gain unauthorised access to another user's account;
  • attempt to gain access to protected administrator or server functionality;
  • interfere with the operation or security of the service;
  • knowingly introduce malware or harmful code;
  • overwhelm or deliberately disrupt the service;
  • circumvent technical access controls;
  • fraudulently obtain paid access if paid products are introduced;
  • manipulate, attack or exploit the website in a way that harms other users; or
  • use the service in a way that infringes another person's intellectual-property or other legal rights.

Good-faith security research should not involve accessing, altering, retaining or disclosing another user's personal information or deliberately damaging the service.

If you believe you have found a security problem, please report it to catherinerobinsontuition@gmail.com.

15.Availability of the service

We aim to keep LNAT Prepper available and functioning reliably, but no online service can operate without interruption.

Access may occasionally be affected by:

  • maintenance;
  • updates;
  • internet or hosting outages;
  • faults;
  • security incidents;
  • third-party infrastructure problems; or
  • circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will take reasonable steps to restore the service when a problem occurs.

We do not promise that a free service will be available continuously or indefinitely.

If a future paid service is materially unavailable, your statutory consumer rights and any specific remedies applicable to the purchase are not affected by this section.

16.Changes to the service

LNAT Prepper will continue to develop.

We may introduce, remove or modify features where reasonably necessary, including to:

  • improve the service;
  • fix problems;
  • maintain security;
  • reflect changes to the LNAT;
  • respond to changes in law;
  • retire outdated practice material; or
  • introduce new preparation features.

For free features, this may include changing which practice papers or functions are available.

We will not use this provision to remove or materially reduce a paid right that you have already purchased without considering your contractual and statutory rights.

If a material change affects an existing paid service, we will deal with it fairly and provide any remedy required by law.

17.Suspending or ending access

You can stop using LNAT Prepper at any time.

You can also permanently delete your account through Account settings.

We may restrict, suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe this is necessary because:

  • these Terms have been seriously or repeatedly breached;
  • the account is being used fraudulently;
  • another person's account or personal information is at risk;
  • somebody is attempting to compromise the security of the service;
  • the account is being used to copy or redistribute protected material on a substantial scale; or
  • we are legally required to do so.

Where reasonably possible and appropriate, we will explain the reason.

For urgent security matters, fraud or serious misuse, we may need to act immediately.

If we terminate a future paid service for reasons unrelated to any breach by you, we will respect your statutory rights and provide any refund, replacement access or other remedy required in the circumstances.

18.Account deletion

You can permanently delete your LNAT Prepper account from Account settings.

Deleting your account removes your access to information stored within that account, including saved attempts and results, as described in our Privacy Notice.

Account deletion cannot normally be undone.

If paid access is introduced in future, you should consider any remaining paid access before voluntarily deleting the account associated with it. Account deletion does not remove any refund or cancellation right that the law independently gives you.

Some information may need to be retained after account deletion where required by law or for another lawful reason. Details are provided in the Privacy Notice.

Paid services

19.If paid access is introduced

LNAT Prepper currently operates using free-account access.

If we introduce paid practice papers, subscriptions, packs or other paid features, the relevant purchase page and checkout will tell you clearly before you pay:

  • what you are buying;
  • the price, including applicable taxes;
  • the period of access;
  • whether the payment is one-off or recurring;
  • what is included;
  • any attempt or usage limits;
  • when access starts;
  • how payment is taken;
  • applicable cancellation information; and
  • any other important conditions specific to the purchase.

Information shown at checkout that specifically describes the purchase forms part of your contract with us.

We will not create an automatic renewal or recurring payment unless that has been clearly disclosed before purchase and you have agreed to it.

Payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider identified at checkout.

LNAT Prepper does not need to receive your full card number in order to provide access.

20.Consumer cancellation and refund rights

If paid services are introduced, your legal cancellation and refund rights will depend on what is being supplied and when access begins.

We will give you the legally required pre-contract information before you place an order.

Where the law requires your express agreement before digital content or a digital service begins immediately, we will obtain the required agreement and any acknowledgement concerning your cancellation rights during checkout.

Nothing in these Terms removes or reduces any cancellation, refund, repair, repeat-performance, price-reduction or other remedy that you are entitled to under consumer law.

21.Your statutory consumer rights

If you pay for LNAT Prepper, you have legal rights in addition to anything stated in these Terms.

Depending on the legal classification of the product supplied, consumer law may require digital content to meet statutory quality requirements and services to be performed with reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude those rights.

Responsibility and disputes

22.Our responsibility to you

We do not exclude responsibility where it would be unlawful to do so.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • your statutory consumer rights; or
  • any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these Terms.

LNAT Prepper is supplied for personal educational use. We are not responsible for business losses such as loss of business income, profit or commercial opportunity resulting from use of the service for a business purpose for which it was not supplied.

We are not responsible for:

  • an admissions decision made by a university;
  • a change made by the LNAT Consortium, Pearson VUE or a university;
  • a difference between a practice score and an official LNAT score; or
  • information lost because you clear or disable local browser storage where the service has clearly explained that the relevant guest data is stored there.

This section does not affect rights that consumer law gives you.

23.Third-party websites and services

LNAT Prepper may link to third-party websites, including the official LNAT website, universities, Pearson VUE, and educational or reference sources.

Links are provided because they may be useful.

We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, security, availability or privacy practices.

A link does not mean that the third party endorses LNAT Prepper or that we endorse everything on that website.

24.Privacy

Our Privacy Notice explains what personal information we collect, why we use it, browser storage, service providers, retention, account deletion, international processing, and your data-protection rights.

The Privacy Notice is intended to explain our processing of personal information and should be read alongside these Terms.

25.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary, for example to:

  • reflect a change in the law;
  • reflect a new feature;
  • improve clarity;
  • address security or misuse;
  • reflect a change to the way LNAT Prepper operates; or
  • introduce paid products or other materially different services.

The date at the top will show when the Terms were last updated.

Updated Terms will apply to future use from the effective date stated.

If a change is significant for existing account holders, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to their attention.

We will not use a later version of these Terms to retrospectively remove rights that you have already acquired under an existing paid contract, except where a change is required by law.

26.If part of these Terms cannot be enforced

If a court or other competent authority decides that part of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply so far as they can operate independently.

27.Delays in enforcing these Terms

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not necessarily mean that we have permanently waived our right to enforce it.

We will nevertheless exercise our rights under these Terms reasonably and in accordance with applicable consumer law.

28.Complaints and contacting us

If you have a problem with LNAT Prepper, please contact us first so that we have an opportunity to resolve it.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising a statutory right, contacting a regulator or consumer body, or bringing a claim before a court that has jurisdiction to hear it.

29.Governing law and consumer protections

These Terms are intended for a service operated in the United Kingdom.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms deprives you of any mandatory consumer protection that applies to you because of where you live.

You may bring a dispute before any court that has jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms requires you to use a private arbitration process or prevents you from using the courts available to you.
