How our reviews work
This page explains, in plain terms, who can review LNAT Prepper, what we publish, and the only reasons a written review is ever held back. Last updated: 7 September 2026.
Who can leave a review
You can leave a review if you have an LNAT Prepper account with a confirmed email address and you have submitted at least one practice paper on the site with at least one answer given. We do not check your score, your timing or how well you did: everyone who has genuinely used the site can review it.
Guests who complete the free diagnostic without an account cannot review until they have claimed that result into an account.
One review per account
Each account has one overall review of LNAT Prepper, not one review per paper. You can edit or delete it at any time from the reviews page.
No incentives
We do not pay for reviews, offer discounts, free papers, tuition or any other reward in exchange for a review, and we never ask for a particular rating. Nobody is invited to review because we expect them to be positive.
Positive and critical reviews are treated the same
A one-star review is handled exactly like a five-star review. A rating is never removed, hidden or discounted because it is low, and a written review is never held back because it is critical of us.
How the average is calculated
The average is the mean of every genuine rating, on a scale of 1 to 5, shown to one decimal place, with the number of ratings alongside it. We only display the average, or describe it in the markup search engines read, once at least 5 genuine ratings have been left.
A rating still counts even if the written text that came with it has been held back for one of the reasons below. That way an average can never be nudged by decisions about written content. Where the two numbers differ, the reviews page shows both, for example “12 ratings · 9 written reviews published”.
Older testimonials and screenshots elsewhere on the site are not ratings and count for nothing in this average. Only reviews submitted through this system are counted.
When a written review can be held back
Written reviews are checked before publication. We never edit or rewrite what a student wrote. Text can only be held back on these grounds:
- Contains personal information
- Abusive, threatening or unlawful content
- Spam or promotional links
- Irrelevant or off-topic
- Suspected fake, or not based on product use
- Other policy reason, recorded with an explanation
If we hold text back, the rating that came with it still counts in the average. If you edit your written review after it has been published, it goes back for checking while your rating continues to count.
Fake and duplicate reviews
Separately from the checks above, a rating can be set aside so that it no longer counts if there is a demonstrable problem with it: it is fake, duplicated, from an account that has not used the site, or spam. This always requires a recorded reason and is logged internally. It is never used because a review is unflattering.
We do not publish fake reviews, we do not write reviews ourselves, and we do not publish incentivised reviews without disclosure.
Editing, deleting and account closure
You can change your rating and your written review whenever you like. A changed rating updates the average straight away. Deleting your review removes both the rating and the text from the page and from the average. Closing your account removes your review as well.
Reporting a review
Every published review has a “Report this review” link that opens an email to us with the review reference filled in. You can also write to catherinerobinsontuition@gmail.com. Tell us which review you mean and what the problem is, and we will look at it against this policy.
What we publish about you
A published review shows your star rating, your written text, a date, a “Verified user” badge meaning the account has submitted a practice paper, and either “LNAT Prepper student” or your first name if you chose that. We never publish your surname, email address, scores, target universities, account reference or any link to a profile. See our Privacy Notice and Terms for the rest.
